I can see saying ‘hey, we have them available if you want one’. The thing that gets me is the presumption that I need it without asking me. There’s several places I could have already received the shot if I wanted it. I could be an ‘essential worker’ and received it before everyone else, for example.

‘Do you want it?’ is a lot different to ‘we ordered it for you!’ in my mind.

Every year I am asked if I got my flu shot yet. Every year I tell them there’s not one with my name on it. I guess they think by asking that way instead of asking if I want one I’ll be fooled or something.
At work they actually had someone come in to give everyone a flu shot. My coworkers looked at me like I was from Mars when I refused, and a few were trying to shame me into it. I just told them if everyone else got a shot, they don’t have anything to worry about.
