Work is all remote. There are limited openings. Now those jobs had completely taken over by Indian Bodyshop companies. People are sitting in India, but mailing addresses in the US are doing the job. Last week, one company suggested me to take two jobs in one company because they can’t pay a real rate. One with my actual SSN and another fake. I refused. Trying a lot of options.

There is no commerce. Worldwide business is near zero. Companies are not expanding, in fact, IT layoff and firing are above 10%. Big layoffs are coming.

Here every next apartment is empty.
People are moving to Canada, as they had opened immigration and dropped score to very low for PR.

Wow. Would you really have to work 2 jobs or is that a way around not being able to pay much?

Aren’t several big tech companies moving out, or moving divisions out, of CA??

Any chance of those kind of (other state) jobs?
