I have been in Flora, IL.
In 1978, I was in the wedding party for a good friend of mine.
The bride and groom met on the mission field in Alaska.
I flew out there with the groom’s mother and brother. We rented a car at O’Hare in Chicago and drove to Flora, which was in corn country about two hours south of Chicago.
Wonderful folks out there.
You must have been driving at a pretty good clip. I grew up about 2 hours south of Chicago & Flora is further south than where I was.
