My friend likes gravy on cantaloupe. First time I saw her eat it, I was surprised. She told me in the old days the gravy on plates got mixed with the cantaloupe on plates, and people discovered it was good. I don’t know if she was talking about her family or what,
I’m like Monk the OCD detective. My food doesn’t touch and salad and fruit has to be on a separate plate. I mix a few things but usually eat one thing at a time.
There are certain things that gravy doesn’t belong on.
Cantaloupe is one of those.

I have my doubt about gravy on cantaloupe, but I love gravy when it mixes in with salad on your plate. Gravy makes a lovely salad dressing!
