Anyway, he said he had gotten a lot of questions about black flags flying all over DC as well as why are there so many tourist buses around the Capitol in DC when there’s virtually no tourists. So, he went back over his clips from January and February and showed what he had previously captured and clipped a lot of them together.
The ‘black flags’ are the POW-MIA flag. President Trump signed the National POW/MIA Flag Act in 2019 which requires the POW/MIA Flag be displayed whenever the American flag is displayed on prominent federal properties to honor the more than 82,000 Americans who are listed as Prisoners of War (POW), Missing in Action (MIA), or otherwise unaccounted for from our nation’s past wars and conflicts. This includes all Post Offices, so if yours isn’t, make some noise!
The tour (or charter) buses are being used to ferry around the NG troups.
Also, he had an update on the barbed wire that was being taken down around the Capitol. It appears that the fence (along with barbed wire) is going to be put up on the other side of the street it was blocking, so the street will be open to traffic but the fence will still be there.
