Philly is ruined, West Philly is ruined, and parts of DelCo are now ruined. (Upper Darby...)
Was stationed at the yards back in 87-88. Mostly stayed on Broadway or on South Street. Flyers win the cup when I was there. Not one riot, had a really good time that night. Lived in Rocky territory for a bit on South Tasker. Nice people of the Italian persuasion. 8 oz drafts for .60 and shuffle bowling on almost every corner. Walk down the street with the two shipmates I lived with and would get our “skinny asses” invited in for pasta dinner by a stereo typical stout Italian mamma and to meet a few girls. I heard Tasker is a shithole now.
