Pleases don't misunderstand; I enjoy these discussions. But I would say at this point, your approach requires a new declaration of independence and an amount of support not likely to exist in any state. Time will, of course, tell.

Well, the declaration of independence thing was tried, too. Texas had one in 1861. Didn’t work out well.

Which brings me back to my original statement, “Anything can happen at a convention.”
