I was wondering if there were some non-deciduous type bushes outside the window, newer plantings. Not needle type but there might be some bushes that don’t lose leaves in winter; not familiar with what kind of non-deciduous ornamentals there are in DC. If there aren’t that kind of bushes outside the Oval Office, it’s more proof that Bitem aint’ in the OO.
Boxwood is an evergreen broad leaf bush that grows well in the mid-Atlantic states and would be appropriate for White House landscaping. Live Oak and Holly are broad leaf evergreen trees that also grow in the area.
