10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

You get it! Vs 12 is hard for many to take in if they don't study spirits. God gave us the Old Testament to introduce carnal people to the Spiritual. When Jesus appeared in the New Testament just as we saw, most didn't understand the Spiritual Kingdom He brought. But some did and spread the Gospel. When He takes the church out as His Bride, the rest will be introduced to the supernatural.

What is on earth right now is temporary and will burn up. What will last is the Kingdom of God and will be forever. We have to ask ourselves why we hang on to the temporary so tightly and forget the permanent. When we figure it out God's Word will make sense. As it is now, we can't fathom giving away our money, our love, even our life, to please God. In Truth, I have a friend that died in a train wreck with his Ford Truck. He went to Heaven and ate with Jesus. Jesus sent him back to spread the Gospel. When he died he was a motorcycle outlaw. About 15 minutes before the train hit him he gave his life to Jesus. When he woke up, He was a God fearing preacher/ teacher, Godly man. A smile is on his face 24/7. I asked why, he said because I know where I'm going and didn't want to come back here. When I get back to Jesus will be the highlight of my existence.

Just like the Bible says, this life here is a vapor. The real life is is Heaven with Jesus. Carnal people can't understand that.
