I was listening the day before this (2020) election. It just occurred to me...Rush did NOT say that at the end of the show before this election.
Am I imagining things?
“the more memories the better.”
You’re right.
If you still have that old ping list, you should ping them to this thread.
There used to be quite a group of us who met here everyday to listen to and comment about his show.
Some of us can probably thank her for a subsequent steak dinner.
A friend of mine was the daughter of a large animal veterinarian. One day he took us with him to see about a sick animal. Since it was an odd call on a weekend, he was driving a small sedan; his daughter was in the front passenger seat, and I was in the cramped back seat next to a large stainless steel canister. I asked what the canister was, and he said it contained bull sperm. Ewww! (I was a city girl in my late teens.)
His daughter then had to explain the process to me, matter-of-factly. Doc was highly amused at my ignorance of such matters. We drove by a large herd of cows grazing in a pasture. "Aw, look at all my daughters there," he sighed.
As it turned out, his task that day only involved giving medicine to a sick horse. He got paid with two chickens, which the farmer strangled in front of us and threw into a sack after they stopped running around with their broken necks (yes, chickens do run around like chickens with their heads off). We ate them for dinner that night. Freshest chicken I have ever eaten, before or since.
Rush auctioned Reid's nasty letter on eBay that was co-signed by some of the worst swamp rats ever to disgrace the halls of Congress. In repudiating Reid's arrogance, el Rushbo raised $4.2 million for disabled veterans. Talk about using a lemon to make lemonade!
The list of signers is at the link above. Imagine the worth those historic autographs on the auctioned letter will retain.
May God bless the incomparable patriot Rush Limbaugh, and comfort his family.
Are Russian Blues good for people who have asthma issues or is that just wishful thinking? I had a few cats in the house for over a decade then suddenly started to develop mild asthma. When the last cat died all of a sudden I had no asthma problems anymore. Unfortunately, I then learned I can’t have a cat in the house anymore unless it is hypoallergenic so to speak. Hairless pharoah cats would probably work but way to expensive.
Rush was the inspiration for my screen name. The world is upsidedown.
