The first two months I took it, I had some gut reactions. Nothing major, but definitely noticeable. That stopped after third month. I know I've got other viruses (I had a horrible case of mono as a child that required hospitalization, so I know I've got EBV floating around somewhere) so the "colon cleanse" made me wonder if the IVM is killing off other viruses. But that's just me playing internet doctor.
I swim laps at my gym several times a week, so I'm sure I've been exposed, but I've had no symptoms. My mom is elderly and somewhat frail, so I didn't want to take any chance of carrying virus to her. She is wisely refusing the vaccine.

Thanks. I don’t plan on cracking open my horse paste tube unless someone I’ve been in very close contact with gets Covid. So far I’ve known only a very few (10 to date) in my area who’ve tested positive - none at all until 8/20 - eight have had symptoms, from very mild to a 19-day flu-like ordeal. None were hospitalized. If I should get it, I’d rather “nip it in the bud”, although I don’t think it likely at this point. I tried to expose myself to small amounts, if possible, from the beginning, breathing in deeply in places where people publicly gathered, in hopes of building an immune response. I’ve never shut myself in. That was just counter-intuitive to me.
I take probably 17 supplements daily (CWIDT?) When the preventive recommendations came out, I found I was happily already taking C, D3, K2, zinc, NAC and quercetin/bromelain, and had been for decades. I love Florida, but had to do something to alleviate the allergies to the unknown pollens from our extremely varied flora! And in so doing, I never even get colds or flus, either. Never had a flu shot, and of course I’m not getting any Covid jab, either. The only “face covering” I’ve worn, when absolutely necessary, I made from pleated leftover patio screen. I absolutely refuse to wear it in church, even though there’s a sign requesting masks on the door. Like I told my other half, “Somebody’s got to set the good example, might as well be me!”
