I did deicing for one winter season. I never personally looked into the chemistry of it, but from what I remember, the main active ingredient is propylene glycol. There’s Type 1 and Type 4; not sure of which, but one is for the main cleaning, and the other is sprayed as a barrier against snow/ice buildup.
We were simply told not to ingest it.
And now you may have a culprit for at least some of your issues. I would recommend finding a doc who specializes in environmental toxin chelation.
I had relative decent health up until I got a heavy dose of diazanon from a bad neighbor. I got several auto-immune conditions in the next year/year and a half, pretty much wrecked my life in several ways. I would suggest doing what ponygirl says.
