Thanks I will check out LineageOS, sounds promising.

I use a Samsung S7 with Android 8 (9 does more spying). I bought Android Business Calendar app as it is suppose to omit Google spying but it doesn’t even after back forth communicating with BC app.

Yes Google spy and stores every text and calendar entry. When you search for something in your texts or calendar, it goes and searches on Google server instead of in the app on my phone. That is why it takes so long.

Ever set calendar entry to have no reminders? The Google app turns reminders for both email and text popup notifications reminders back on😡

We need an app that deGoogles your phone, that would hit #1 fast.

Gab may or may not have a future phone coming?
