Bookmarks?! Do I have bookmarks, with abundant folders for organization, and hardly want to add more. The time it takes to drill down and find and open the bookmark i can have already found many pages that are waiting for me in just few seconds. Even if you want about 160 documented sources on Covid19, or about 200 allegations of voter fraud. all copied with formatting and posted to render accordingly? Give me a about 30 seconds.
Even if a browser does some type of lazy, deferred loading, that still consumes resources. I can have all those in a side window and then instantly click or enter a keyword and then click. I have 32GB or RAM and a 4.0 quad-care Ryzen CPU, thank God, and with one click can restart the browser which clears things up and restores all my tabs just as they were. Only slow down is when I first click on one it reloads it.
Why would I want the top of my browser window wasted by 6 or 8 rows of tabs?
Less than 2 inches? Why not? But that is you. For me it is like having the particular paint colors out when doing a painting, not stored in a drawer, so let me do the work I use the PC mainly for, and the tools to do it, though you find no need for such.
So I can do that by selecting side bookmark folders (Covid, VoteFraud") and then click "Open All". And my setup will render all of those in less than your 30 seconds because I'm not stuck with a slowerer rendering engine like as in the legacy FireFox.
I run multiple 4K 50" monitors. have 12 core (24 with hyper-threading) CPU, 64GB ram, and don't like even 2 or 3 inches wasted on each browser window. You must not run a lot of really, really big "stuff", in both memory, CPU, and screen space.
