I agree with your idea, but Trump has proven over and over that he is the last one that should be interviewing and making character judgements. Obama could convince Trump to support Obama. We love Trump but the is clueless when it comes to discernment of persons.

He did have a lot of trouble filling gov jobs, but those jobs required particular knowledge, ability, and skills that few have- and those that do are bound in relationships social and political.
