When I was a girl scout a hundred years ago, my Mom would give me 25 cents to go the girl scout meeting held at the local church. Ten cents for dues, ten cents for a bottle of glass bottled pop and five cents for a pack of crackers or chips.😂
As an altar boy, the funeral director would give us each a quarter, which bought us a slice of pizza ($0.15) and a Coke ($0.10) for lunch. LOLOL : )
