Yes, I was taken back to hear Jim Jordan hope for McCarthy, after the 2022, to be Majority Leader. I brushed it off hoping he simply made a lame statement trying to expect the victory and if things are the way they are today, used McCarthy to make the point.
(Except,... you and I know that Jim Jordan doesn’t make “lame” statements.) I just struggle with prioritizing my list of disasters, and potential ones, I want to deal with all at one time.
What occurs to me is that Jordan might risk losing important committee assignments if he doesn't accept the current leadership. He could still vote otherwise if the Whigs take back the House majority.
