It was a suggestion.

I have no idea what is on television in the Philippines, as I have never been there.

Personally, I can't stand any of the drivel that's on American TV. My husband likes a couple of shows, and they drive me crazy because every single episode is propaganda. The propaganda is woven into the story lines in a way that people miss it, which is even more dangerous because that means people are consuming those ideas without any critical examination.

The K-dramas, on the other hand, contain no propaganda that I can discern, and I find them just fun to watch. When I went to Korea a few years ago, every tour guide recommended them...I'm glad I finally have the time to watch them.
