We need a new feminism, one that doesn’t insist on the killing of the most innocent and defenseless among us.
1.6 billion (very conservative number) killed just since 1980. More ppl killed than all of the world’s wars and health epidemics and pandemics through all of recorded history combined, in just 40 years.

Great find.
Not knowing the outside voice that is Whedon, I appreciated the scripts he developed and aspired to create something tangible. Circa 2004, and using some of his techniques from Buffy and Angel, Firefly, and even the Disney Atlantis, I had even developed a trilogy outside the original six/now nine Star Wars canon bubble, with some cross threads that would have really peaked LucasBooks/LucasArts. As such, before anyone ever penned “VII”, I was the guy in the chute, and my title affectionately called Star Wars: The Sith Resurrected (VII) would have led Kathleen (Kennedy) toward a Jedi light force instead of a Sith dark side force. It is scripturally sound with everything the brand provides: droids, ancient civilizational battles from different worlds and systems, “I have a bad feeling about this”, and more; it is set in between Empire Strikes Back and leads into the end of Return of the Jedi, but has no paradox with the books or movies. In fact, it’s irrelevant because where the characters end up, they have no influence to the Rebellion or the Empire. As a bonus, and homage to Lucas, I also included his original StarWars onscreen character as a parent of one of the heroines, and most of the trilogy is intertwining in the manner of two of his other creations: the partnership with Spielberg for Indiana Jones, and his books that focus on Willow, to which the movie in the 80s is based.
Kathleen was on board...until the Disney sell. When she took over as the President of LucasArts, she called the authors in the series and told them Disney did not want the expanded universe, because it could interfere with future works. Me, specifically, I was told that one of the writers from Toy Story 3 was going to be the scriptwriter for VII. When that failed, and Abrams came onboard, I knew that I had to wait. Now that IX is dead and gone, and they have included supplemental break-off series and movies, I could have a chance. What is more likely is instead of my books aka scripts working to bring out Lucas’ unconscious writing of several biblically-historical occurrences, the Christian undertones, and the actual light knight versus dark side battle...
...I’m probably going to just have to settle on my Wilderness saga. Disney is just too dirty with seasoned writers such as Whedon. A glance at his IMDB will tell you where his heads(s) ir(are) most of the time:

Cliffnotes:
Writer on these series: Roseanne, Parenthood, Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Dollplay, Dollhouse, and Agents of Shield, which I will discuss in-depth in a second.
Writer of these films: The original Buffy (with Paul Reubens), Toy Story 1, Atlantis, Alien: Resurrection (with Winona Ryder), Titan AE, The Cabin in the Woods, a re-take of Much Ado About Nothing, and the Avengers self-titled and Age of Ultron. He wrote these and then wrote Agents of Shield as a spin-off, writing himself into any future work in Marvel. But, he then wrote Justice League, going over to the rivals’ team.
Writer of this smut: If you’ve ever wondered why the actresses (and actors in some cases) are usually clad barely or in tight costumes (Buffy/Angel: Buffy/SarahMichelleGellar, Faith/ElizaDushku, Willow/AlysonHannigan, Dawn/Michelle Tractenberg, Tara/AmberBenson, Cordelia/CharismaCarpenter, mentioned, Drusilla/JulietLandau, Harmony/MercedesMcNab, Darla/JulieBenz | Avengers/Agents: Any female character, actors Scarlett Johansson, Elizabeth Olsen, Zoe Saldana, Cobie Smulders, Gwyneth Paltrow, Linda Cardellini, Hayley Atwell, Elizabeth Henstridge, Chloe Bennet, Ming-Na Wen | Justice: Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Amber Heard, Connie Nielsen), as well as Amy Acker in any of her many roles under his productions. Basically any female in anything he has insight of, wonder no more. After developing Buffy, he’s allowed accreditation for his name attached to writing these three parodies: Muffy the Vampire Layer, Buffy the Vampire Layer, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer XXX: The Parody. You can, as a writer, deny in court access of your name rights as accreditation, because you didn’t write it. However, he never did.
But let’s not take the word of Charisma. What about from his other female actresses...I’ve only given a list to choose from. And then, after Charisma came out, more surfaced. Joss “The Boss” Whedon is about to become #MeTooTwo

Last year, this slipped past us:
https://movieweb.com/disney-plus-survey-mature-tv-shows-movies/
“Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly were obtained by Disney when they purchased Fox, along with Malcolm in the Middle. Shows like Modern Family, How I Met Your Mother, Black-ish, and Malcolm in the Middle, were also included in the survey.”
Joss has his hand in too much over at Disney, and it will be worth it to shelf The Sith Resurrected until there’s no more traces of him or other oligarchs who can exploit young women in plain sight...
Sorry rant so long...
