The powdered eggs the army fed us were green sometimes, they went down OK.

The fresh scrambled eggs full of ants that fell out of the trees into the mirmex mess trailer weren’t bad either, it was still dark so no one noticed until it started getting light....

CSM Reed went back for seconds even after word got around!

What is this left-over uncooked ba-con?

Never heard of such.

Well Clint Eastwood always got a side of bacon to keep him fed on the trail, so I knew it would keep!

A good rule of thumb is to subtract one day from the time you end up on the floor suffering from severe stomach cramps and voluminous, explosive diarrhea.

I've got cans of Tactical Bacon stashed all around the house from before 2016. And yes, it takes all my willpower to leave it alone.

Guacamole on eggs, with sides of bacon and toast.

I tell my kids I am happily eating Green Eggs & Ham. They just roll their eyes at me.

In Central PA they are Amish or mostly Mennonite family run stores.

In Mifflinburg there is Wenger’s. They just ran a 2 day anniversary sale where everything in the store except milk was 20% off. It’s the size of a large supermarket.

Whispering Pines in Mt. Pleasant Mills is on a large apple orchard. Wingers is in Williamsport and Northumberland. There are several more scattered around of various sizes.

You must watch dates and quality carefully.

Most of these are also bulk goods stores where you can purchase 50 lb bags of flours, grains, sugars and ....

I’ve watched food prices skyrocket in the past two months. I have several apps on my phone to check prices, but found the big box stores put price increases through faster than other stores.

Also, bacon should not be green.

You sir, owe me a new monitor, and my medical bills for my falling out of my chair.
