Whenever I ask or see others ask about Juan, I’ve never seen an answer that indicates the people posting him know anything about him. You’re the first to relay information about him.
Even though he’s paid ‘intel dues’, the same can be said for black hats in our intel agencies. Or Alex Jones - an intel embed who sometimes goes long periods of time posting “normal” until he’s deployed.
We still don’t know who this anonymous poster is or who he works for, if anyone. I’ve never come across him before and he seemed to hit the scene around the same time as Charlie Ward, who posts with SP.

I've taught adult bible classes for well over a dozen years among a church that very much gets into the Word, yet I would still say that Juan's facility with Scripture is on a par with a DMin. (I can rightly say that, as I had dinner with Juan, accompanied by a life-long minister.) Though I know even satan can portray himself as an angel of light, if Juan is a demon incarnate, he certain doesn't tremble when it comes to his straightforward expressions of faith in Jesus as Savior.
Within my hearing, Juan has been accorded tremendous accolades from a number of unequivocal white hats, e.g., retired Lt. Col. Field McConnell, brother of Kristine Marcy, director of the Senior Executive Service, who is the hybristophilliac bed-buddy and fellow child trafficking right arm of HRC. Though it was only an event described to me by Juan (while the subject was still alive to possibly deny it if untrue), I understand Juan was a direct, collaborating friend of Admiral Lyons. If Juan is a liar, he's a tremendously savvy and effective one and would be rightly feared as the Devil himself.
Though personal stories, Juan implicitly claimed (as nothing special, just part of the story) to me to be professional acquaintance to NoName and Gen. Mattis and known by name/position to both of them. His opinion of (foul-mouth) Mattis was fully guarded even at a time when he was SecDef. With NoName, verbal brawl was set to erupt at any moment.
The credentials of Mossad's Bill Hicks (A Jones) don't begin to scrape the underside of what Juan has in his everyday quiver.
To hear arm-chair posters here take pot-shots at Juan would be an embarrassment to those posters if they were aware of reality. Almost everyone is willing to thank a military person for her or his service, but reality would have people tripping over themselves to thank Juan for his. He may not always have the right answer or give people what they want to hear, but we all generally should consider his insights. Often those insights are tough to swallow.
Regarding red-pilling, one of his favorite lines is, "The lies are different at every level." It sounds as if he could be a demon, but what he's saying with that is actually, "To get to the truth, which in your terms is so outlandish I'm forced to sugar-coat it in ways you'll find acceptable just to hear it and for us to continue the conversation. When you've acclimated to that understanding, we'll be ready for the next layer of truth if you're willing to consider it."
