Lavender seeds are supposed to take long to spout but he ones I ordered from either Jung or Johnny’s already came up, which surprised me.

I’m watching the rest and keeping a fan on them and in a very sunny window.

I’m hoping for enough above freezing temperatures soon as we have a fairly sheltered porch I can put them on once that happens.

I want them good and hardened off by planting time in spring.

We are in west Michigan and it is pretty cold here. Our kitchen and dining room floor has a south facing slider but a tile floor. I try every few years to start my own plants, even use lights and a heating pad but they just grow and are weak. Easier to buy young veg plants. But the lavender I will try sprouting. I didn’t know they are like 8 kinds of lavender but the english is definitely the one I want.
