Yes, 17 here too we are just east of Grand Rapids and that lake effect snow machine has been cranked up since the big storm went through yesterday. It drops continual snow from light to heavy as it drops the moisture from Lake Michigan. We got 5 inches from the bigger storm and an additional 3-4. It will keep going until Wednesday I hear. Hubby plowed yesterday and today. I reminded him of the winter a few years ago when we got so much snow he had to plow three times in one day. Plenty of wood and food in the pantry. Hey it’s Michigan.
Buddy of mine lives in Boyne City and he said they’re getting hit hard too
Looked thru johnnys catalog, but still have seeds left over; I like the pelletized seeds.
must be nice down in the tropics; I just feed the birds and wonder how the local moose take the winter so well. Sometimes they bed right nx to the house; must be warmer.
Spring can't get here soon enough.
Seattle area has not had a hard freeze yet this winter (for gardening purposes) and I may have jinxed it by posting that a few days ago.
We should be having lows below freezing (30-28) for aboutb4 ir 5 days this coming week.
High’s will be in the low 40s so not technically a hard freeze or frost but enough to finally kill off my sweet peas. I think my Italian kale and broccoli should be fine however.
