Confirmed reinfections globally are statistically zero.
Some earlier studies have shown that people who survive a COVID-19 infection continue to produce protective antibodies against key parts of the virus for several months. But how long those antibodies last and whether they are enough to protect against reinfection have remained open questions.
In search of answers, researchers led by David Eyre, University of Oxford, England, looked to more than 12,000 healthcare workers at Oxford University Hospitals from April to November 2020. At the start of the study, 11,052 of them tested negative for antibodies against SARS-CoV-2, suggesting they hadn’t had COVID-19. But the other 1,246 tested positive for antibodies, evidence that they’d already been infected.
After this initial testing, all participants received antibody tests once every two months and diagnostic tests for an active COVID-19 infection at least every other week. What the researchers discovered was rather interesting. Eighty-nine of the 11,052 healthcare workers who tested negative at the outset later got a symptomatic COVID-19 infection. Another 76 individuals who originally tested negative for antibodies tested positive for COVID-19, despite having no symptoms. The findings, which were posted as a pre-print on medRxiv, suggest that acquired immunity from an initial COVID-19 infection offers protection against reinfection for six months. The amount from their study indicated 165 of 11,000 went at it again. So you are never safe from the ability to pass the illness and without the vaccine and the boosters being recommended, you aren’t safe from getting it again. That made the study people 2% re-infect. That would encompass with a 2% average of 33M people in the US approximately 660T people would repeat continually after 6 months after getting the illness without the vaccine and they’re not sure how long the vaccine will work, so that number is an unknown. But it is a number.
My problem is I don’t settle for being told it is the answer when it is just a postponement. And there are a certain amount of people that can’t use the vaccines so they become the factories. If they find a vaccine that kills it, period, great. But they can’t and they are forcing us to settle for collateral damage both with the possible catching of the virus and also a reaction to the shot with little follow up using automobile window injections sites trusting forms and passing those shot on. About the same way they vaccinate cattle. And I guess there is an accepted amount of collateral damage there, too. But are many of the people that get it again accepting it. Doubt it.
