How much is a rounded tablespoon? I like coffee good and strong, so my rounded tablespoon would likely be somewhat higher than, say, the rounded tablespoon one of my aunts, who was so stingy with the coffee that you could see the bottom of the cup. She could have gotten a good 100 cups from this container.
I read a story about a guy that, for 90 days, had to live as if it was 1955. The two interesting takeaways were that there was really no “good” vodka available in the US at that time and, if you followed the instructions on a can of Folgers for making a cup of coffee, if you put a spoon in your cup, you could see the spoon from the top all the way down. ;)
i.e. the “makes 79 cups” claim is so subjective as to be non-actionable, legally. At least, that would be my take if I were on the jury.
