"La Grange" is a song by the American rock group ZZ Top, from their 1973 album Tres Hombres. One of ZZ Top's most successful songs, it was released as a single in 1973 and received extensive radio play, rising to No. 41 on the Billboard Hot 100 in June 1974.

” they gotta’ lotta’ nice girls out there “
Still about my favorite ZZ Top song.
” Just Got Paid “ is a true classic.
What a great band! True rock and roll.
Texas! Yeah baby! Saw them years back at the Houston Rodeo and elsewhere around town. Love ZZ.
I go through LaGrange all the time. One day, I will have to find out where the house of ill repute was.
“A haw haw haw haw a haw a haw haw haw”
My favorite lyric in that song!
I like every ZZ Top song from First album thru Fandango
And most thru Eliminator
Quite a run
Not quite Stones length but damn good
ZZTop are not only great musicians, but they’re three very nice fellas’ as well.
LOL!!
Thanks.
They’ve been playing for, what...fifty years??? When it comes to long-lived bands that are still kickin’ it, I don’t think ZZ Top get their full due.
Billy just doesn’t want to quit playin’ that guitar, does he ?
What a great guitar fade-out to La Grange.

Yes...great tune. I think my favorite ZZTop song may be Blue Jean Blues.
Longest lived group with the original lineup. In that they have the Stones beat.
Did you know....an ad agency for Ford (iirc) used that song in a TV commercial without getting permission from teh band?
The reason offered is that nobody at the agency had ever heard of ZZ Top.

It’s off of Rocky Creek road. Can’t see it though. Not sure if there is a structure still left or not, but it’s awl growd up.
Heck, go for 30 more years !
