Snow in DC started 4am on the 31st lasted till 8pm, then freezing rain from then till 3pm today, at which time it snowed till 9pm.

So, 15 to 16 hours ago is around 8 to 9am today, and there would not have been any snow.
My yard here in Maryland is still covered in snow. Just too cold to melt. It be crunchy right now. Snow still at the White House too. I just checked the cam.
