All of US knew he meant Joe’s demented, but when I googed “Joe’s shot”, I found plenty of derp websites yelling that Trump was predicting that Joe would be SHOT!

growing up in the 50’s/60’s, “shot” in trump lexicon = broke down, imo
I expect use of the word “shot” there originally would have referred to a worn out horse.
