Agreed

What I find odd is that the House gets to prosecute but members from the other side can’t defend? That’s BS

That was never the case until the Dems began taking over the government recently. We saw it with the Deep State trying to frame Prez Trump as a Russian puppet. We saw it with Justice Kavanaugh and also Jussie Smolett. We saw it with the first 'impeachment'; the House stripped the president of all his constitutional rights and held evidentiary hearings in a secret Court of Star Chamber (with absolutely NO push back from the Republicans!) ...AND we saw it with the Republican Senate treating it like a true impeachment.

Of course we saw it with the first coup d'etat in world history to fail and the plotters skated completely free and were subsequently held up publicly as heroes... now having succeeded in removing their target they are assuming power.

We see it today as House Dems begin to throw properly elected Repubs that they don't like out of office ... with no push back from Repubs. Now Washington will determine who can represent your district - not the voters.

AND we see it with this faux impeachment now where the Senate, with absolutely no constitutional authority, will put a private citizen under trial, attempt to convict that citizen of some unspecified crime, and then pass sentence --- for the first time in American history! ... with a modicum of Republican push back, for show. Just as 10 Republicans in the House joined the illegal 'impeachment' sham, expect about 10 Republicans in the Senate to join in there. That is called representative government now.

Actually it doesn't matter if the Senate votes 100% to convict a private citizen because SCOTUS Chief Justice John Roberts has already rejected the matter as ostensibly unconstitutional. However, after that the Dems will quickly turn SCOTUS into a committee of the Dem Congress by adding a few more justices thus nullifying the separation of powers and thus the Constitution.

Then the Dem autocracy will make Washington D.C. the 51st state - which is also unconstitutional - or it was until the Dems nullified the Constitution - and erased the Bill of Rights.

Does that help clear it up for you?
