Just a stray thought whenever I see this room. I don't believe the (fake?) bright green foliage on the mantle looks appropriate and I don't believe staff charged with tending to White House aesthetics (flowers, plants) would put it there. It looks like an informal summer or spring display. It appears to be (fake) cuttings or something. It's just wrong.

It does not blend well with the dull ( fake?) floral arangement on the coffee table which is conventional in style, unlike the mantle greenery, and does nothing to adorn the room. Realestate agents do a better job of placing fake plants in a room to make it look appealing.

Doubt all in the room are correctly social distancing. The women onthe couch appear to be 4 ft apart.  Same with the photographer on the lower left and the man seated on the couch.

It's just propaganda but couldn't they, you know, do a better job?

I thought it was odd that a news broadcast would carefully film and show the group filing out of the room. Then I recall that they knew they were going to do this since last year. They've had time to film people coming and going in exterior and interior rooms. Now they can film masked standins with the Biden and edit in  the earlier footage filmed at the White House to falsely portray groups of congress critters having just stepped out of a meeting with Biden. 

I imagine they have filmed a lot of stock footage at the white house, and meetings with Congress critters n advance.

Lastly, just my personal preference, but I wish someone would move that grandfather clock somewhere else.

I was thinking that awhile back when Monkeywerx said that there was no TFR over Mar-A-Lago, and when Thomas Wictor said that the photo of Pres. Trump and McCarthy was definitely photoshopped.

I had thought, isn’t Trump supposed to be somewhere no one knows where he is? Instead, he’s filmed golfing, and taking meetings out of the MAL White House.

I don’t think the drop is referencing some other instance where he was abroad in an undisclosed location. If that ever happened, I didn’t hear about it. Well, I guess I didn’t really hear about it this time either. 🤪

Context of the drop fit with the “military takes control” scenario. The whole drop is pretty long and it was in the midst of a ton of drops posted early on during the 4chan days, before the trip code security function on 8chan and before they were signed Q.

Cruz is again a POS but when he is up for re election he will pretend to be a solid conservative and sadly some will fall for that act.

I think he could easily be primaried, a solid oppoenent could easily do compelling ads showing Cruzboi saying ultra nasty stuff about OUR President! Once the dust settles and the elections are clean, I think many rotten Rs will be primaried.

My memory of 'nam is captured in the Mel Gibson movie 'We Were Soldiers'. I can bring myself to watch it but it wrenches my gut.

If you haven't read the entire book, it is worth reading. The movie was quite accurate but was only the beginning battle. The follow on had a large number of our troops moving from the first location to another location. They were ambushed and badly mauled on the way. It is practically a miracle any got out alive.

It was an ugly open to our part in an ugly war.

I may go with a rule that if I’m not sure, to at least try to use a smaller family owned business when possible, over a large national or global corporation.

For now that is what we are doing. We have not shopped much since October but when we do have to replenish I'd like to support the right people. The plethora of conglomerates who control our stock of daily needs is unbelievable. Cleaning, food, vitamins, tools, raw materials... it's predominately derp/foreign. And now they are trying to shut down domestic energy. Sick.

Y'all can laugh but I'm series enough that I spent hours on firewood yesterday for home heating. I've made my own laundry soap - from pre-made soap - for years because I have severe allergies to many chemical fragrances. I'm going to take that a step further this year to make the soap. Daughter has milk goats so I can makes goat's milk soap. I've made some vinegar I used to clean.

And, no, I don't want to go primitive. But I am retired, have time to figure out a few things, and I don't want to support derps if I can help it.

I used to have a couple of “Made In America” sites that listed all kinds of goods made in the USA. Don’t have time to see if I still have them but that might be a start, and the prog ones could probably be discerned.

I have used Amazon a lot (GACK) because there is NO shopping here without long, long drives, if then... And cannot abide to any more. Don’t want to support it, or chinee made crap, and plus it’s increasingly hellish to deal with.
