Good point. My late Dad was a Civil War reenactor in the Brooklyn 14th Regiment (Union) .. and I went with him to several reenactments after Mom died (at a Gettysburg July 3rd 1998 reenactment, of all places and times) ... back then you could go into any Gettysburg store and find all sorts of Civil War memorabilia, both Union and Confederate.
But that was nearly 20 years ago. Nowadays I wonder if any of it is still around, with this silly 'cancel culture' that the left has imposed on us all. /sigh
In other photos, it’s clear that the confederate flag had never been flown, it was new, with its packing creases.
