***talk radio....we used to have several talk radio programs ...I’m talking LOCAL....and to my knowledge, now we have none....***

In my area outside Washington, D.C. I tune into WMAL 105.9 for talk radio. Chris Plante is my favorite at 9am-Noon. Then Rush Limbaugh comes on at Noon-3pm. well we get the national radio broadcast...

but LOCAL talk radio is extremely important...local citizens talking up national issues but also local issues, uniting, discussing, figuring things out and connecting...

local radio had a huge hand in throwing out Thomas Foley, a speaker of the house at the time and a many term congressman....

we need our voices heard....
