Sequm is an interesting place (pronounced skwihm)...
It’s on the Straight of Juan de Fuca just south of Vancouver Island, has the John Wayne Marina and is surrounded by literal rain forest with 80+ inches of rain each year, yet Sequim is in the rain shadow and receives only 15” of rain each year.
Wheat is grown and harvested in Sequim though it’s impossible to grow it 10 miles outside of Sequim...
It’s an oddity for sure.
