Ashli was the only person killed at the Capitol building that day. She was killed while peacefully protesting, while unarmed and not attacking anyone, by a LEO. That is what is shameful and immoral. The shooter deserves prison time and lots of it.
She wasn't peacefully protesting - she was at the front breaking through the window of a barricaded door. Totally justified whether she was armed or not. A gang of intruders comes to your house, breaks down your front door. You are now barricaded in your bedroom with your family. Intruder now breaks the glass door and starts to come through, and you shoot. 100% justified.
