In 1973, cereal heiress Marjorie Merriweather Post donated her 128-room Palm Beach mansion to the U.S. government to be used as the “winter White House.”

Trump in Palm Beach: Mar-a-Lago’s SCIF, JFK’s bunker and keeping national security secure

Posted Nov 5, 2019 at 6:28 AM

"The recent “storming” of a Capitol Hill hearing where sensitive information was to be presented raised awareness of secure rooms used by federal officials. There’s such a SCIF at Mar-a-Lago."

(no not the storming of Capitol Hill led by Antifa/BLM on Jan 6, 202)

"There is a SCIF at Mar-a-Lago, which is used when President Donald Trump is in town."

"Ironically, the existence of the SCIF at the president’s private club in Palm Beach was first revealed in a White House press briefing on February 14, 2017, to rebut criticism Trump himself had put sensitive discussions at risk."

"That a president who spends a lot of time in Palm Beach has access to a secure room is not ahistorical. In 1961, a secure bunker on Peanut Island that served as a shelter and command post became operational for President John F. Kennedy."

Re Mar a Lago:

I recall that Trump the Titan was also in a bidding war for Mar a Lago with...
Jeffrey Epstein.
........

In November 2004, The Apprentice host said he was fixated on winning “the finest piece of land in Florida and probably the U.S.,” refering to the six-acre parcel that the bank seized from Abe Gosman, a businessman who made his money building nursing homes. It was, by Trump’s estimation, the “second greatest house in America,’” conveniently just a ten-minute drive from the number-one home, Mar-a-Lago. Gosman had purchased the property in 1988 for around $12 million from Leslie Wexner, Epstein’s benefactor; with a strong initial bid at-auction of $37.25 million, it appeared the financier was about to take it back. But bidding soon shot up to $38.6 million and “Trump had made up his mind to get it no matter the price,” a lawyer present at the auction told the Washington Post. Trump’s bid eventually rose to $41.35 million, and he won the house. That month also marked the last known contact between the two: Shortly after the auction, Trump left two voicemails for Epstein at his Palm Beach home.

..........
NOTE: “THE SECOND GREATEST HOUSE IN AMERICA”
Hmmmm, why would Epstein want a home that was built as a White House, with bomb shelters and a SCIF?
