I am still humored by the huge bible they swore him in on, and then Harris puts her
purse on the bible before placing her hand on that to be swore in. Once you start to
point this stuff out if they still don’t catch on, may be they never will...Suppose
it might be a lot to take in if you’ve been relying on having an honest media.

Forgot to mention buddy 5, he’s mad because Trump is wrecking everything for
Republicans, and I mean he was MAD! Simon Parks was a nut case too. I didn’t see
that one coming but I tried my best to get him to understand the whole election was
a sting operation and to settle down.

So we need a truth table, it’s a logic thing, to understand the states of shock low
information individuals are going to be in:

AND, OR and NOT are the operators for a combination of statements to be true or false;

https://plus.maths.org/content/maths-minute-truth-tables

For example, the statement P AND Q (eg “the cat is white and the dog is black”) is
only considered true if both P and Q are true, otherwise it is false. This can be
summarized in a truth table:

P | Q | P AND Q
T | T | T
T | F | F
F | T | F
F | F | F

The table lists every combination of truth values for P and Q and then tells you
what the corresponding truth value for P AND Q is.

Similarly, the OR connective is defined by the following table:

P | Q | P OR Q
T | T | T
T | F | T
F | T | T
F | F | F

There is also a truth table that defines NOT P, the negation of a statement P (if P
is “the cat is white” then NOT P is “the cat is not white”). Unsurprisingly, NOT P
is true when P is false and vice versa:

P | NOT P
T | F
F | T

Using the OR and the NOT operators, we can derive the law of the excluded middle,
which says that P OR NOT P is always true:

P | NOT P | P OR NOT P
T | F . . . . .| T
F | T . . . . .| T

Truth tables - I have to admit that I had completely forgotten about them. I can’t even remember how many years it’s been since I looked at them.

Suspiciously similar to Boolean algebra, maybe?

Wow, I remember those. Everyone follows their own mental path on things like we are facing now, and the is a set of responses that we know most will work their way through.

I just tell myself to forsake the rush to know first but to simply be observant and let the answer come to me, which it will, whatever it is.

In the meantime, Biden is quickly presenting investment angst to many, and I’m watching that carefully also. Lots of crosscurrents and possible pitfalls there that have to be navigated.

Damn that China and their “interesting times”.

Just curious ... did you learn logic from a mathematics perspective or computer engineering perspective.

The “law of the excluded middle” looks like most of truth table for XOR (exclusive OR). I never heard of it referred to that way. I primarily design digital electronics for a living and your post caught my eye :-).
