I bought an Ionic Pro years ago and like it a lot. It is not a whole house device. I recently broke it and DH is trying to fix it. It’s a large size one, it’s around 15 years old maybe. No filters, just metal blades to wipe and needs a good blow out with compressed air, or vacuum out, periodically. I have asthma and allergies and without it the air quality is much worse. I am allergic to dust, smoke, mold and other stuff. We have a wood stove and I can handle with the air filter and even without as long as the draw on the stove is good.
Thanks, I have been looking into them lately because I am having bad issues with sinuses and headaches.
You know it is hard being allergic to dust. It is everywhere.
We have a Synchronicity Air and love it. Not only does it take care of mold and other allergens, it actively kills viruses. No ozone so it’s safer than many of the other ionizers.
