Not sure why everyone is surprised at Kevin McCarthy showing his colors. He was always close with Rino Ryan so that is all the evidence you need that he is a Deep Stater $ Party guy.
You’re right, of course, and that connection has been posted on these threads. It’s just irksome to see him display that with no fear.
Worse than that actually. When lyin’ Ryan left McCarthy was a shoe in to become speaker but he would give up his girlfriend who was also a house member so he declined. Go figure.
