“A new article detailing Chris Miller’s final days as acting secretary of defense is being characterized as “bonkers” and a “wild ride,” and it’s easy to see why: The story published Friday in Vanity Fair is chock full of stunning quotes and anecdotes, like Miller railing against the department he stewarded as “f*****g rotten” and his top lieutenant complaining that President Donald Trump “threw America under the bus.”
“I feel like I just dropped acid in the E-Ring,” reporter John Donnelly said after reading the article, referring to the area of the Pentagon that hosts the most senior officials in the Department of Defense.”
And here’s a comment; says PDJT asked for the NG days before Jan 6th:
“what a contradictory article. First Miller says he couldn’t do anything without a presidential order, then brags that his team issued the order.
The reality is, Trump wanted NG and lots of them, and was ‘advised’ not to do that because of optics. He was assured the Capitol Police had matters in hand. He then delegated power to call up the NG (i.e., issued a verbal presidential order) to the same SofDef who was part of those who ‘advised’ him on optics. This was followed up on by Pence, who some have also credited, contrary to Miller’s narrative, with being the first to act.
Lesson to all: civilian police are not legally obligated to ‘protect’ - as Mayor Bowser knows well and as we witnessed for ourselves: cops filmed leaving the scene and ignoring pleas from the crowd to ‘do something’.
The real question is, who were those advisors who stood in Trump’s way and slapped down his request for NG,, days prior to the rally? Let them step forward into the light.”

It is an iron clad guarantee that anything from Vanity Fair is a lie. Cherry picked quotes out of context, or made up entire, twisted etc.
They hate Trump with a flaming passion. IMHO no one should pay it the least bit of attention. They more they make someone connected with Trump look bad, the more that meanst such a person is actually good.
