One thing I noticed was how gray & dreary it was.

When you watch the official coverage it was sunny, as I recall.

I could be wrong.

Specifically, what’s the difference between “hive mind” and “group think”?

Excellent question, and since I really didn't know or didn't even even think to ask myself, I looked it up.

hive mind

a notional entity consisting of a large number of people who share their knowledge or opinions with one another, regarded as producing either uncritical conformity or collective intelligence.

"he has become one of those celebrities whose online presence has made him a favorite of the internet hive mind"

(in science fiction) a unified consciousness or intelligence formed by a number of alien individuals, the resulting consciousness typically exerting control over its constituent members.

"there is a Borg Queen who controls the hive mind"

Groupthink

is a psychological phenomenon that occurs within a group of people in which the desire for harmony or conformity in the group results in an irrational or dysfunctional decision-making outcome.

Davos opened this year with a virtual speech by Chinese Communist leader Xi Jinping.

The globalists invited the Chinese leader to lecture on the coronavirus and human rights.

They also invited Hannibal Lecter to lecture on the proper way to prepare the human liver.

Welcome to the brave new Chinese world.

Hope everybody likes chopsticks.

Looking for critique - I’m writing a quick form letter that I can insert into RNC prepaid donation envelopes to send back. Not with any donation, but to let them know how I feel and to make them pay for the return postage.

Here’s the letter - advice welcome:

“”Dear RNC,
It seems that we’ve reached a misunderstanding. You seem to have some kind of twisted belief that I might be willing to donate to your party, while at the same time, you have become complicit in the massive voter fraud that resulted in Joe Biden taking office as President versus Donald J. Trump.
The steal is real, and you helped. How? You allowed it to happen. You didn’t stand with OUR President, the greatest President we’ve had since at least Ronald Reagan, in fighting the obvious, orchestrated theft of an election.
You seem to think that if you and your mainstream media propagandists keep telling us that there was no fraud, that we will somehow believe you. Yet, the evidence is overwhelming that fraud took place in many ways including through the use of internet-connected voting machines. But that will not work – we’re on to your antics. We will not be silenced!
We expect Democrats to cheat, lie, and steal to gain power over the people. That’s what they do. But we were misled for decades, into believing that the Republican party stood opposite that in a principled manner. We now know better – all 75 million of us that voted for Donald Trump know better.
The final straw – you had a chance to fix the fraud before the runoff elections in Georgia, but you remained silent. Why? Because you had made backroom deals with your “friends” across the aisle, and chose your own personal financial interests over the American people.
We are awake and you are finished as a party.

Yours Truly,

A Former Republican “”

Interesting. So I guess we could say, then, that hive mind smartens people up, and group think dumbs people down.

I wonder why some people use them interchangeably. They must be the dumbed down ones!

"Dean of Mercer University Law School has Zoom call where she openly defames Lin Wood, who had donated $1 million to the school, and argues for taking his name off law school’s courtroom, and is surprised when Lin Wood is on the call and responds to her"

Listening now. The Dean of the Law School, outlining the removal of Lin Wood's name of the courtroom, mentioned that the College has been around for 188 years.

188 Hmmmmm. And the "coincidences" keep in coming...

You are more thoughtful and articulate than I am. But I figure they don’t deserve it. I used their postpaid envelope, too, and just took what they sent me and wrote the following across it in big red sharpie letters:

No way! Fat chance! I donated to President Donald Trump, and NOT to the RNC. Never! You people threw him under the bus. I am changing my registration to “no political affiliation.”

Good story. If I were going to do something like this that is pretty much the way I would go about it.

I will not comment further other than a reminder of what I have said before, "Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, does Electronic Warfare (EW) and Information Warfare (IW) like the United States."

I started reading my father's copy of Naval Institute Proceedings as a boy. I was a subscriber myself for 25 years. I gave it up about the time I gave up all magazines.

The first book from the Naval Institute Press I read was his copy of United States Destroyer Operations in World War II. I highly recommend it.

I still have my pre-publication copy of Tom Clancy's Hunt for Red October. In it he mentioned an Air Force system, LANTIRN (Low Altitude Navigation and Targeting Infrared for Night). I wanted to know more so I walked down the hall to talk to an AF colleague. I asked, "What can you tell me about LANTIRN?" Without moving his head his eyes looked up at me and he asked very coldly, "Where did you hear that word?" We went into the SCIF and had an interesting chat.

I showed him the passage in the book. He read it muttering, "Crap, crap, oh crap." It turns out he had been part of the Avionics Operational Test team for LANTIRN.

The People’s Cube is a satire site run by Oleg Atabashian who came to America from a communist country. So the satire is funny and bitingly on the mark.

ThankQ.

I think most of that is a huge stretch.
I just watched the 2017 Pres. Trump inaugural motorcade and Presidential walk.

There was no military in field gear protecting the parade route.
Any military lined along the route generally faced the President and saluted at attention.

It was the cops that had their backs to the President in protection mode.

I’m thinking the military with their back to Pres. Biden procession were in protection mode.
https://www.c-span.org/video/?422243-1/president-trump-walks-inaugural-parade

The Biden people admitted that they turned down AF1.

I didn’t bother to try and chase down the rest...
