There are no more Prophets for one.
And if there were every single one that was wrong would be stoned to death according to biblical law.
That being said we can still see God working regarding his creation.
People need to seek out his face and ask for repentance.
Obviously our country has not learned anything.
Acts 2:17-18 “In the last days, God said, “I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.”
Clearly since the time of Christ we have been living “the last days” and this gift is anything but gone. (from Crosswalk.com)
