If you’re saying that Biblical prophets have ceased to exist after the close of the New Testament era, I will say that I tend to agree with you but with the caveat that we cannot limit God and what He can do today.

I cannot say categorically that because God has spoken in the past, therefore, He will not speak again through prophetic ministry today.

However, every single utterance by someone who calls himself a prophet of God, even those who foretell the future, have to be judged based on Biblical teachings. God does not contradict Himself.
