Tried it a few years back, got to about tier 3, decided I didn’t care for the transmission busting back and forth tactics. Too twitchy for my old hands (and brain).

I was... Then I deactivated my page and I can't get in now. Same with Pub-G. Really bummed about that, but I found a new game! It's not as fast as these other two, not as flashy, kinda boring, but it can take up a 15-20 minute gap in your schedule. It's call Solitaire. Check it out! Sssssss/

I used to play about a year and a half ago but quit due to the toxic community. Most of that stemmed from the mod that allowed seeing win%. They implemented the ability to turn off chat (which says a lot for a “team” game), but what’s the point? How is the community now?

War Thunder is way better.

My plan is to move to that after I get my chops back up on WOTs. I have not gammed in 6 years as my computer and internet connection were laughably out of date.

Now I have rearmed with a new wicked fast gamming computer. As far as I am concerned every enemy tank I see has a dem or a GOPe driving it and I am coming for them, and hell is coming with me. It would just be helpful if I could aim.

If you want to get your twitch reflexes back play 2016 Doom. It forces you to play that way but guides you into it.

I don’t play that but there are quite a few other strategy games that I play!

I have quite a bit. Favorites are the light sniper destroyers like the Hellcat and the Charioteer. I havent been able to play for about 6 months because I keep getting kicked off the server.

Thanks but those are regular tanks, I got that down. Artillery works differently and give you a areal view of the target from above.

I do. But I have to ask real world tankers... do real world shells bounce off armor that much? I can be landing shot after shot - even flanking shots and they just bounce right off and meanwhile it seems like I’m driving a cardboard tank most of the time - two or three shots and I’m knocked out. Can be really frustrating. I grinded my butt off to get the feared King Tiger and it was the same thing! Put me off of the game for a while.

I do love my M4 Sherman, though. =)

I have the same problem that's why I love artillery. You just find a quite spot and snipe.

I was amazed to find my old user name and passwords still worked and I still had all my stuff. They even gave me a bunch of gold and credits since I had been there for over 10 years.

Its been a long winter and I need to do something other that watching the news. Killing dem tank drivers releases my stress.
