The Eastern migration that overwinters in Mexico have pretty good numbers this year. The Western Monarchs not so much.
My grand daughter and I saw hundreds flying over one day here in Indiana. Not in one group just a stream of them.

We had dozens of them in our alfalfa field in September. Almost all butterflies like alfalfa blossoms. Anyway, they were everywhere :-)
Well ,I’m sure the CIA will breed them - if you believe the theories about them being a symbol of being a brainwashed puppet for them, as with many celebs,and former Playboy bunnies
A few years ago here in commiefornia there were millions of them flying around everywhere. I saw a few today just in the few minutes I was outside.
