We are discovering that is the case for us also. Hubby is discovering it faster than I am since he is working harder and moving large objects. I’m just going really slow. I hope the market doesn’t turn before we get everything moved out and the place cleaned up to sell!
I’m taking the day off, I need to rest my arms. After taking everything out of the freezer yesterday and then putting it back in, and after lifting too many super pails to put them where I wanted them in the basement, I’ve reached my limit. Maybe I’m getting smarter, I’m learning to back off before I want to cut my arms off.
We are also concerned about the market with my FIL’s house, we want to get it on the market before Biden destroys the economy...
we sent pictures a month ago so they could pick out stuff and we would box it up and store it for them. We did ok with my SIL in Germany, but for my BIL, he wants to come down next week and pick stuff out. Hopefully, we can at least get the furniture out, the sentimental stuff boxed up (we decided to keep it all, and give it to nieces/nephews for wedding/housewarming gifts). The rest of the stuff we will probably do a yard sale or post on Nextdoor.
We met with an estate sale company and they were so rude, we decided against an estate sale.
