My gas fireplace is a replica of a British coal fireplace. I got the coal one because the wood in gas fireplaces always looks so fake.....there’s nothing like a real wood fire! And they smell sooooooo good!

I wish I had any kind of fireplace or woodstove! I don't need it for heat, but would like it for a backup and ambiance. But I would have to do some major renovations to fit either one in safely so I'll just stick with a kerosene heater for a backup if I ever need it.

I might could do something like this with the electric, though....
