Just talked to Hubby about it, his company handles running several plants in Texas. Apparently the natural gas supply lines froze, they weren’t prepared for such inclement weather, as the insulation was adequate for what was typical. So, no fuel, no electricity.

Yes, the gas pipe lines and the turbines froze. We just weren’t prepared for this, but it hardly ever happens.
