Well we did have our water contaminated. They haven’t figured out the source but have it narrowed down to industrial part of town. I’ll have to read this, thanks.
One of the comments:
I live in San Angelo. The story here is that the city suspects a backflow issue, probably from an industrial site. This kind of makes sense, as the PaulAnn area where the reports originated is close to an industrial park.
Erin Brockovitch, who is now involved for some reason, blames Texans generally and the city specifically for being too cheap on water solutions. Water is a constant concern down here, and “boil water” issues are not uncommon (though industrial chemicals in the water are on another level). Nobody is talking terrorism.
This site is the first and only place (so far) I’ve seen the incident blamed on terrorism. The story seems to be based on talks with a “former water manager” for the city, and not much else. Was the current water manager not available? Who did they interview?
I dunno... did crazy radicals target li’l old San Angelo? Or is it possible Bubba just backed his pickup up somewhere and unloaded all those old rusty, half-filled cans he had in his garage somewhere he shouldn’t?
