A long time ago, when I heard him speak, alarms sounded. He made me very suspicious, as his way of speaking was like nails on a chalkboard to me. But as time went on and I heard he was such a great guy, and the president was so pleased with him, etc., I thought I could have misjudged him, and that even though he sounded like a phony, slick, rehearsed politician, he must be a good guy.
I will now go back to trusting my original reaction. He made my skin crawl from the get-go.
Many of us assumed Pence was a true friend to Trump because, you know, “Christian”. That’s the part that makes me sick to my stomach. With every prayer for Trump, there was a thank you that he is surrounded and prayed over by Christian men and women...like Pence. Truly comparable to Judas.
