Many years ago, probably in the 90s, I watched a panel discussion on C-SPAN consisting of journalism school professors and students. It stunned me when they openly discussed the fact that they saw their job as filtering what the public should know and how it should be framed. The students on that panel discussion are now in positions of leadership. It’s very frightening.
Those folks were the students of the J-School types I ran across in the early 70's when I was finishing my BS Engineering and all that Grad school stuff.
Radical leftists? Sheesh, those goofs were so far left they were about to fall off the planet, but they didn't have enough sense collectively to pour sand outta a boot. (Did have a ton of Daddy's money, though.)
MHO if anyone had a time machine and wanted to go back to the beginnings of our current political plague, the date settings would better be 1966 or 67. (Or maybe even to '63 to foil JFK assassination?)

That sounds like what they are taught in school then? That is ridiculous. I wonder how long that’s been going on.
